According to a research study presented at the Alzheimer's Association® International Congress (AAIC) 2021, Covid-19 may be associated with long-term cognitive dysfunction and accelerated Alzheimer's disease pathology and symptoms.
These studies are part of several reports from an international consortium, comprising the Alzheimer's Association and teams from nearly 40 countries investigating the long-term secondary effects of Covid-19 on the Central Nervous System (SNC).
